ANIMA MUNDI is the invisible energy behind all the natural and artificial elements that allow the planet to live. Thanks to the hidden connections of ANIMA MUNDI, all the ecosystems of the Earth, before and after the appearance of mankind, found their equilibrium, their ways to live and to develop themselves, to transform and to evolve. All the beings of the planet, plants, minerals, and animals are permeated by a secret force that has always stimulated human thought and research.
In response to the Anima Mundi theme, Iris Arnaud offers two hand-painted canvases that explore the deep, often unseen, connection between the inner self and the living energy of the world around us. Her work reflects the belief that true harmony—within ourselves and with the planet—begins with authenticity. When we commit to understanding our roots, embracing our emotional histories, and listening to our inner voice, we align more closely with the universal rhythm that animates all things.
Painted in a meditative, trance-like state, her pieces are raw, physical, and intuitive. They channel a force beyond the visible—a visual echo of the emotional and energetic undercurrents that connect human beings to nature, to each other, and to something greater. Through layers of movement, texture, and presence, Iris invites the viewer to remember this vital connection and to see self-knowledge as part of Earth’s broader intelligence.
